Flag Retirement Ceremonies

Retiring United States (U.S.) flags is one of the most sacred duties entrusted to our organization. Respect for our nation’s symbols are an integral part of being a reverent and responsible scout. Conducting flag retirement ceremonies provides opportunities for our scouts to reflect on the meaning of our flag and all that it represents. Have a U.S., Michigan or armed services flag that needs to be retired? We have several collection boxes located throughout the community.

Flag collection boxes can be found at:

  • Williamston True Value, 139 S. Putnam Street, Williamston, MI 48895

  • United States Postal Office, 1295 E. Grand River Ave, Williamston, MI 48895

  • NIESA Fire Station 61, 1296 W. Grand River Ave, Williamston, MI 48895

  • Leroy Township Hall1685 N. M-52, Webberville, MI
