Retiring United States (U.S.) flags is one of the most sacred duties entrusted to our organization. Respect for our nation’s symbols are an integral part of being a reverent and responsible scout. Conducting flag retirement ceremonies provides opportunities for our scouts to reflect on the meaning of our flag and all that it represents.
