Mohawk Campsite has been reserved, and Troop 63 is looking forward to having a great week up north. Cost for 2010 is $250 per Scout and includes food, shelter, t-shirt, patch, and some program supplies. Important dates can be found on the calendar page. Each person attending Northwoods must submit a BSA Medical Form (available for download via the link to the left) signed by their physician. Physicals for youth and adults under 40 must be within 36 months of camp, physicals for adults over 40 must be within 12 months of camp.
Congratulations to Joel Rubeck, the SPL for the 2010 trip! Patrol leaders will be John Siciliano, Joel Yauk, and Ross Allen.
Many merit badges offered at Northwoods have requirements that must be completed prior to going to camp. These prerequisites are listed in the Merit Badge Prerequisites document, which can be downloaded from the link to the left. Scouts may refer to meritbadge.com for badge requirements. Scouts should have prerequisites completed before their arrival at camp.
All Scouts taking the Swimming or Lifesaving Merit Badges must bring an extra change of clothing, including a button-down shirt, pair of blue jeans and old tennis shoes. All scouts planning on attending the tubing trip must bring a pair of water shoes (old tennis shoes will work fine).
Please contact Assistant Scoutmaster Dan Urbane with any questions.
