Troop 63

Philmont

Philmont Scout Ranch is a high adventure base that hosts two-week-long backpacking trips into beautiful New Mexican wilderness. Philmont is located near the town of Cimarron in New Mexico.

Northern Tier

The Northern Tier National High Adventure Bases are located on the boundary waters of the United States and Canada. They host two-week-long canoeing trips into wild areas of the northern U.S. and southern Canada via series’ of lakes and rivers near the border.

Sea Base

Located in the Florida keys, the Florida National High Adventure Sea Base offers programs that include sailing, snorkeling, and scuba diving in the Atlantic Ocean.

The next Troop 63 Philmont trip is scheduled for July 2010
Troop 63 recently completed an expedition to Northern Tier in July 2009
The next Troop 63 Sea Base trip is scheduled for spring break 2011

A Scout who participates in all three of the programs earns the Triple Crown award. Only one member of Troop 63 has earned the Triple Crown.
